Browser Extension Privacy Policy

Overview

The LinkPilot browser extension ("the extension") helps you post comments you have written and approved in the LinkPilot web app (link-pilot.com) to the specific LinkedIn post you choose. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses and what it does not do. It applies only to the extension; the main web app is covered by our Privacy Policy.

What the extension accesses

• Your LinkPilot session token — read from link-pilot.com so the extension can mark a comment as posted in your account. It is stored locally in your browser's extension storage.
• The comment text you approved — held locally only long enough to place it into the LinkedIn comment box you selected.

What the extension does NOT do

• It does not scrape, collect, or store your LinkedIn data or anyone else's.
• It does not read your messages, connections, or feed.
• It does not act on your behalf in the background or on a schedule — it runs only when you click to post a comment you approved.
• It does not sell or share any data with third parties.
• It does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness.

Data storage & retention

The only data stored locally (via the browser's extension storage) is your LinkPilot session token and the current pending comment. These are removed when you sign out or after the comment is posted. Nothing is sent anywhere except the LinkPilot API (to mark the comment as posted) and LinkedIn (to place your approved comment, in your own logged-in session).

Your control

You stay in control of every action. The extension only ever posts the exact comment you approved, on the post you selected. You can remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page, which clears all locally stored data.
